Mental

When my parents were kids, the fight for their attention was very insignificant compared to what it is now. They listened to radio programs like the Lone Ranger that ended with “Come back next week to see if the Lone Ranger gets out of this mess”. They had an entire week to wait in anticipation of what would happen.

Today, my kids stream show to show and watch an entire series in an afternoon or watch hundreds of tick-tock clips every seven seconds for hours at a time. No wonder mental health is such a buzz word nowadays. I am not preaching against social media, I use it to build my platform every day.

I am saying that we need to be intentional about setting time apart every single day so that we can disconnect from society and arrange a mentally healthy habit for us to heal the damage that we have allowed to sabotage on our minds.
